Food Truck Udvar is the latest addition to the growing neighbourhood of Budapest’s District 9. While the month of December may not appear to be ideal for introducing such an outdoor food court, many braved the cold to try out some tasty street food from the food trucks at it’s grand opening over the weekend.
There was a wide variety of options covering vegan (Kristof Konyhaja), burgers (All About Street Food), meats (BBQ Szentendre), pasta (Gnocchi Furgon), and sandwiches (Gubo).
And what better way to wash it all down than with a beer from the craft beer district provided by Élesztő and Jónás. Of course there were also specialty soups, tea and coffee available as well for those who wanted to warm up.
Food Truck Udvar is open daily from 11am to 10pm and will serve as the new culinary hub for the Corvin area.
