Highlights of This Experience

Budapest has a very exciting and growing craft beer scene with an increasing number of micro-breweries, events such as the highly popular craft beer festivals, and there are more and more bars that are dedicated to only have craft beers on tap. There’s everything from pale ale, stout, and wheat beer to a variety of fruit beers and local specialties such as a beer with Tokaji aszú as an ingredient.

This 2-hour tasting is held at a central location in the Palace District of Budapest. Led by a beer expert, you’ll be explained everything you need to know about beer tasting and the brewing process.

You’ll also learn about the Hungarian craft beer scene and about some of the main breweries. During the tasting, you’ll have 5 different beers and you will also enjoy a selection of the best local cheese and charcuterie, including mangalica pork sausages, free-range water buffalo salami, smoked duck breast, and grey beef sausage (as well as some other surprises).
