This great concert in the afternoon by Budapest Bar will definitely put you into the festive mood with a fusion of jazz, pop and gipsy music.

Mazel Tov is a great bar and restaurant in the city center with a bit of that “ruin pub touch” in its design. They offer a 3-course menu and a special culinary treat later during the night. The tradition of this NYE concert goes back to 2001. The event also gives you the chance to admire the recently renovated Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music with its beautiful grand hall .

If you want to share the NYE experience with the whole city…

If you want to check out the streets for some holiday cheer, then we can assure you that Budapest won’t disappoint you. After all, it’s quite an experience to celebrate the upcoming new year with the whole city. The center of Budapest is quite busy in general, especially Vörösmarty Square, Nyugati Square, Oktogon, Andrássy Avenue, and Liszt Ferenc Square. There are also beautiful fireworks all around Budapest that are worth checking out. Just make sure you dress warm enough. 🙂
