We love the concept of pop-up stores, and fortunately, there are more and more of this initiative in Budapest. The latest store, called Pop-Up Store to the Rose, opened on Thursday, May 14th in the heart of Budapest, right next to Gerlóczy Café, and as you might have already guessed, the theme is all about roses.
What makes this store such a great place is that although it’s quite small, there is a huge selection of different things from gardening, decoration, and interior design items to beauty products and kitchenware. In other words, the store is full of treasures, so if you visit the place, make sure you have enough time to explore everything.
The Pop-Up Store to the Rose is a cooperation between edesrozsam.hu, oltaribazar.hu and Projekt Showroom, the latter actively taking part in the selection process of these great products. (Click here to read our interview with Andrea Kincses, co-founder of Projekt Showroom.)

While exploring the store, we had lots of favorite items, including the rubber boots, the umbrellas, the rags, and the soaps. But if we had to pick one item, it would probably be the paper decoration by Karcsi Papírboltja, designed and created specifically for this pop-up store. The bright colors and the unique design could be a great addition to any wedding or event decoration. We’re also very excited about the upcoming special edition of Marrakesh Cement Tile with rose motives, also designed for this pop-up store.
The store is open only for 10 days, but the products that won’t be sold during this time, will be available online (edesrozsam.hu and oltaribazar.hu).
I love the idea of a pop up store. This one is perfect timing as we need to buy a wedding present. We will check it out.
