As we wrote earlier, Budapest Local was invited for the Royal launch of a new luxury rail journey called the Balkan Odyssey. This special trip is offered by Golden Eagle Luxury Trains, a UK-based company that operates 15 luxury rail journeys in Europe and Asia. Lucky passengers on board the Balkan Odyssey will start their journey in Budapest and will travel through seven countries and over ten cities before arriving to Venice, Italy.
As part of the press event, we boarded the Golden Eagle Danube Express luxury train and took a short trip to the Hungarian Railway Museum and Park. Throughout the day, we had the chance to explore the cabins and to enjoy a light lunch in one of the gorgeous restaurant cars. Watch our video below and learn about this new and exciting trip.
